Burgert Kirsten is one of 34 certified Applied Improvisation practitioners in the world. Applied Improvisation is the practise of applying improvisation skills to situations in business and organisational life. It loses its connection to theatre performance and forges a new relationship with work performance. To provide an even more solid foundation for this practise Burgert grounds the methodology in the latest research in Neuroscience.
Burgert is also an improvisational theatre actor and teacher. He studied improvisational theatre at the IO theatre in Chicago USA.
Last but not least, Burgert is a family man. He is married to the beautiful, courageous and creative Lucille, mother of their twin daughters, Lila and Khari, and their son, Joah.
