Guided Relaxations
The Tunnel to Towers Relaxation recordings can be used at any point in your day where you feel stressed or would like help relaxing. For example, at the end of a working day, as you transition into the home or family environment.
They will be particularly useful as a way to put yourself into a relaxed and positive state just before sleep, so that you can optimize the effect of REM sleep in processing accumulated stress.
There are two recordings, one around 7 minutes and the other around 15 minutes.
Short Guided Relaxation (7 mins)
Long Guided Relaxation (15 mins)
Guided Relaxations are distinct from other forms of “mindfulness” and meditation because you do not need to use energy on focusing and paying attention. They can be listened to in a passive state and work particularly well if listened to just before falling asleep.
